Contract Law

An agreement is the agreed-upon bargain of the parties as reflected in their language or by implication from other circumstances, including course of performance, course of dealing, and usage of trade.

Uniform Commercial Code

Under Section 2-106(1) of the Uniform Commercial Code (U.C.C.), "unless the context otherwise requires," the term agreement is "limited to those relating to the present or future sale of goods."
