B2C is an acronym for Business-to-consumer or Business-to-customer, which refers to a type of business/website/technology which focuses on transactions between businesses and consumers, as opposed to business-to-business (B2B) transactions.

Between 1999 and 2007, the United States economy enjoyed an increase of over 500 percent in business-to-consumer online commerce.[1]
