The Biodiversity and Ecosystems Informatics Work Group (BioEco.gov) was established by the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Research (CENR) Subcommittee on Ecological Systems (SES) as a focus from which to improve coordination of Federal biodiversity and ecosystem informatics activities, and eventually to coordinate or meld its products with those of the non-Federal sector, as well as with international efforts.
The "bioeco.gov" web site provides an online resource for the Work Group. The site provides references, activity information, and a venue for sharing information generated by and provided to the Work Group.
