Definitions[]

A call is

[a]ny wire or electronic signaling information generated by a human or a computer acting as an agent for a human to set up a physical or virtual connection to transit information to another or multiple users (humans and/or computer processes). [1]
any temporarily switched connection capable of transferring information between two or more users of a telecommunications system.[2]
