Overview[edit | edit source]

The Act amended RICO by specifying that proceeds (both tangible and intangible) obtained directly or indirectly from racketeering activity were subject to forfeiture. This Act also established the Department of Justice's Asset Forfeiture Fund in the Department of the Treasury.
