Overview[]
This Directive establishes policies and assigns responsibilities to provide linkages between the management, production, and application of DoD IMD under the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (USD(I)), in accordance with DoD Directive 5143.01, and accommodation of IMD in the DoD acquisition processes under the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (USD(AT&L)), in accordance with DoD Directive 5134.01.
