The French Association of Mobile Operators (Association Française du Sans Contact Mobile and also AFSCM) was formed in April 2008 by France Telecom-Orange, SFR, and Bouygues Telecom. It establishes specifications for the interoperability of NFC handsets, NFC-enabled SIM cards, NFC tags and the technical interfaces that operators, service providers and trusted service managers use to communicate.
