Overview[]

The Gateway Information Sharing Initiative (ISI) is a demonstration project in the St. Louis, Missouri, FBI field division, wherein some local, state, and federal criminal indices and investigative files are combined in a data warehouse and made available to all participating agencies for sophisticated factual search and retrieval and data visualization (link analysis and geo-mapping). Also included in the project is a classified data warehouse that adds classified FBI counterterrorism investigative data to the sensitive but unclassified holdings for exploitation by interagency members of the JTTF in the FBI field division.
