Definitions[]

Hijacking means

the use of automated means to register for multiple e-mail accounts or online user accounts from which to transmit, or enable another person to transmit, a commercial e-mail message that is unlawful.
[t]he use of an authenticated user’s communication session to communicate with system components.[1]

Hijacking can also refer to acquiring a botnet by "stealing it from another attacker."[2]
