[t]he art of searching for and listening to and/or recording communications and/or electronic transmissions for the purpose of obtaining intelligence.[1]
action (based on the law), performed by a network operator/access provider/service provider, of making available certain information and providing that information to a law enforcement monitoring facility.[2]
