Plaintiffs, well-known country music performers, sued defendant for registering their names as domain names, such as "alanjackson.com," "vincegill.org," and "trishiayearwood.com." The court granted plaintiffs' motion for partial summary judgment and enjoined defendant from using the plaintiffs' names and marks as domain names, directory names, links, and metatags. The court also ordered transfer of the domain names to the respective plaintiffs and awarded plaintiffs their reasonable attorney's fees.
