Parametric data is

[d]irectly measureable factors (such as frequency, pulse width, polarization, etc.) that help to define a system/waveform and determine its behavior. They are data elements that describe specific properties and timing. Parametric data can be expressed as a mean value, or as a range of values, to describe an operational capability of a system.[1]
