Exploit[edit | edit source]
Remote refers to
|“||[a]n exploit that does not require prior access to a vulnerable system. A remote exploit may or may not allow an operator to perform additional tasks, as the system that the attacker gets onto may have low-level privileges. Often, a successful operation requires a combination of a local or client-side exploit and remote exploit.||”|
