Definitions[]

Restricted data refers to

reports that at an earlier date were classified sensitive or confidential with the need for high-level security no longer existing.[1]
all data concerning (1) design, manufacture, or utilization of atomic weapons; (2) the production of special nuclear material; or (3) the use of special nuclear material in the production of energy, but shall not include data declassified or removed from the Restricted data category pursuant to section 142 [42 U.S.C. §2162].[2]
datasets that cannot be distributed to the general public, because of, for example, participant confidentiality concerns, third-party licensing or use agreements, or national security considerations.[3]
