Overview

The Transformation and System Consolidation (TASC) program was initiated in 2007 by the Department of Homeland Security's Office of the CFO. This program is to modernize, transform, and integrate the various financial acquisition and asset management systems in use at the department's components. It planned to adopt a commercial off-the-shelf package that is already configured and in use in the public sector. In May 2011, a DHS official stated that TASC was to be cancelled.
