Louis Vuitton Matellier v. Akanoc Solutions Inc.,
I recently created the page Louis Vuitton Matellier v. Akanoc Solutions Inc., however I forgot to login before I created it, is there any way to edit it to show that I created this page? I appreciate your help.
Not that I know of. I would suggest you delete the page and then recreate it after logging in.

Hi again. It's great to see this wiki is still going so well. If you're ready for some promotion, the page at Wikia:Spotlights has some tips on best practices. If you feel you've done these, we can add the IT Law Wiki to the Wikia Spotlights area you see on each page. It might help to draw in some new contributors. Angela (talk) 10:50, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
When editing any wikia page, the user agrees to license their contributions under a CC:BY-SA license (see the text right below the edit window).
However, on the http://itlaw.wikia.com/wiki/The_IT_Law_Wiki:About page it says that The IT Law Wiki is released under the GFDL. These two things can both be true at the same time but clarifying the matter is much desired.
That About page should probably either say the content is licensed as CC:BY-SA (as all wikia wiki content is) or CC:BY-SA and the GFDL (if users of the IT Law wiki have agreed to the GFDL somewhere else which I can not see).
Thanks for the great resource though! That is the only reason I am bothering to leave a comment about this; I want to make sure this material is usable by others! -- Greg
[That has been corrected. The GFDL was the original Wiki license, which was recently changed.]
- Awesome! Thanks for the quick response!
U.S. v. Buckner
I'd be interested in a page regarding U.S. v. Buckner, and how it relates to U.S. v. Andrus and Trulock v. Freeh. My legal background is limited in the extreme, I feel that I would do a disservice to the accuracy of the wiki, should I attempt to create a page myself. However, should you find the time to read a bit about the case, I'd love to hear a more informed analysis.
The wiki is an excellent resource for all of us in the IT field, and others, thanks for all the hard work!

Question on BIWAC
Is it possible to find out who made the original posting on topic "BIWAC" ?

[I cannot identify the person who originally posted the item, but it was excerpted from a 2009 GAO report titled "Biosurveillance: Developing a Collaboration Strategy Is Essential to Fostering Interagency Data and Resource Sharing."]

Did I do something wrong in putting up a ted-talk in the page on security? I thought it gave an interesting view on different angles of the concept.
Edits to Sneak and Peek Warrant section
Hello sir or madam, I recently added references to http://itlaw.wikia.com/wiki/%22Sneak_and_peek%22_warrant but was dismayed to discover that my links had been removed. Is there a reason we don't link to the source documents from the wiki references?
I don't mean to sound petulant but I thought I significantly increased the credibility of the wiki page by directly referencing materials. I came here and spent quite a long time tracking down and verifying copy PDFs since the users on this reddit post http://www.reddit.com/r/restorethefourth/comments/1hx7ux/69_of_the_delayednotice_sneak_and_peak_search/ had expressed their skepticism. The reference currently available is highly uninformative and contains only internal links.
Hi there. I'm Brandon, a Community Manager here at Wikia. I've restored the image you deleted. That image was uploaded as part of Special:Promote. This is a tool that allows your wiki to be featured on Wikia.com. More importantly, and for why I'm here, that image represents the wiki when someone searches for it on our mobile apps. I chose that image because it represents the scales of justice, which relates to law. You're welcome to replace it with a new image at Special:Promote (it needs to be uploaded through that page, rather than the image's file page), but an image needs to remain there at all times. Please keep my image there until if and when you replace it with a new one. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 04:51, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
