Overview

The OECD Working Party on Communication Infrastructures and Services Policy (CISP), previously the "Working Party on Telecommuniction and Information Services Policy" ("TISP"), looks at communications and Internet policy, promotes the exchange of experience among OECD members and reviews developments in information infrastructure. The focus is on regulatory reform, the convergence of telecommunication, Internet, cable television and broadcasting networks over fixed and wireless networks.

Ongoing activities range from work on communication including telecommunication market liberalisation, assessment of communication market performance, and regulatory issues such as interconnection, universal service, the development of broadband infrastructure to support electronic commerce, and pricing.
